The Boys & Girls Clubs of Santa Ana accepts a variety of donations including: - Gifts of cash, checks, money orders, credit card charges, and new or near new items that can be used in our programs or offices
- Computers with Pentium IV or equivalent processors in working condition
- Items with value that can be converted to cash for operating needs. According to Internal Revenue Service rules, appraisals will be done on high value items before they are sold
- We also accept bequests, Charitable Gift Annuities, Charitable Remainder Trusts, Life Insurance, Appreciated Stock, and real estate (subject to appraisal outcomes)
Cash donations should be in the form of a check or money order made out to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Santa Ana. Clubs are always in need of sporting goods, books suitable for youth and teens, educational games and supplies, and art supplies. All donations are deductible for Federal and State Income Taxes. Internal Revenue Service does not permit us to place a value on donated items. IRS regulations may be found at www.irs.gov/ so you can determine the best method for establishing the value of your gift or consult with your tax advisor. A planned giving specialist is available to discuss specific needs and bequests. Call 714-543-5129 for additional information. A thank you letter will be sent in response to any donation within one week of receipt of the donation. For further information contact the Director of Development at the Administrative Offices located at 250 N. Golden Circle, Suite 104 Santa Ana, CA 92705 or call 714-543-5129.
