Message from the CEO
Success is a team sport; everyone experiences success because of the generosity of others. Someone was there to help you along the way. Someone was there to teach you the values you have today. Someone was there to help you when you struggled.
I have always been lucky to have a strong support system. I have always been lucky to have mentors in my life that believed in me. I have always been lucky to have someone there when I struggled.
The reason I love the Boys & Girls Club and have made this my personal mission is because this isn't about luck; this is about being intentional, targeted, and laser-focused to ensure every child has the resources, support systems, and mentors they need to reach their full potential.
As I look at the kids we serve, I always consider the challenges and obstacles they face, not because we need excuses, but because we need solutions. The kids deserve us to be bold and innovative on their behalf. They deserve first-class service and a 21st century learning experience. They deserve to have a team of people that invest in their future and champion for their success.
As we launch our new Club, I can't help but think about the thousands and thousands of kids who are depending on us. They are depending on us to be their mentors. They are depending on us to be their support system. They are depending on us to be there to help them when they struggle. They are depending on us.
I can't express how proud I am to lead an organization that is this focused on our mission and this committed to the success of our kids.
