Description of Services

CHOC Children's is dedicated to providing high quality, comprehensive primary care to children from birth to 21 years of age at their community clinics throughout Orange County. In some of their clinics, you will be seen by both a resident and a supervising physician. The resident is a doctor who has graduated from medical school and is training to become a pediatrician. This training takes three years, and CHOC has one of the best training programs in the state. The resident will often be the first to assess your/your child's needs and will review his/her findings with one of the supervising physicians, who will also examine your child and together they will discuss a plan of care with you.
